ONE-STOP SHOPPING FOR (ALMOST) EVERYONE ON YOUR LIST
Normally, I wouldn’t start thinking about holiday gifts until right after Thanksgiving (my motto is “one holiday at a time”!) However, this year is different. I don’t need to remind everyone about the supply chain issues and what that means in terms of the holiday. So I decided to curate a few holiday gift guides with all available and in stock, ready-to-ship items. If you order now, you will easily receive all of these items before December 24th. I will also periodically check inventory to make sure everything is still available.
In addition to my Host & Hostess Gift Guide from my previous post, I’ve put together four gift guides in this post:
- For the Gardener
- For the Cooking Enthusiast
- For the Home Entertainer
- For the Design Aficionado
I’ve also kept prices in mind, with most items coming in around $50-$75 (oftentimes, less). And I’ve added a few splurges in there for the people on your list who’ve been extra-good!
GIFTS FOR THE GARDENER
I’ve included a range of cool and useful items for the avid (or new) gardener on your list – including favorite garden books (you can find more of my favorite garden books here), tools, aprons and gloves – and even a solid wood potting table under $175.

GIFTS FOR THE COOKING ENTHUSIAST
During the pandemic, a lot of people (out of necessity) learned how to cook – or become an even better cook. The gifts I’ve curated range from kitchen basics like a good quality stand mixer (under $200), cutting board and olive wood Santoku knife (my new favorite knife) – as well as a splurge-worthy copper mixing bowl and gratin pan for the advanced cook.
You can also print out a copy of my recipe for Bolognese Ragu (the way I learned how to make it in Italy), and include it with a pasta maker or this dutch oven in a beautiful shade of blue (on sale for $99 and free shipping). I’ve also included a few of my favorite cookbooks in the gift guide (and you can read more about my favorite cookbooks here, here and here).

GIFTS FOR THE ENTERTAINER
You know who these people are! They’re the ones who LOVE to have company, set a beautiful table, make cool craft cocktails, and in general, know how to throw a party! I’ve curated some of my favorite coffee table-worthy entertaining books (you can find more Entertaining Books in the HSW Shop), as well as serving pieces, barware and beautiful, neutral table linens.
My favorite giftable item is this stunning-in-person, French coffee press – it only LOOKS expensive (it’s under $50)! This would make a fabulous gift with a trio of artisan coffee blends.

GIFTS FOR THE DESIGN AFICIONADO
I’ve put together a few of my favorite “Styling Items” that I would often use on editorial photo shoots – art and design books, beautiful vases, sumptuous throws, stylish storage baskets (to house the throw blankets) & decorative objects.
I also included a couple of favorite modern art prints (one is framed, the other is unframed) – I like to style smaller art pieces by leaning them on bookshelves, chests of drawers & sideboards. The splurge piece here is the 30″x40″ abstract canvas painting – this is for the modern art lover on your list. You can also shop more Art & Design Books in the HSW Online Shop.
